HP Colour Laser Jet 2840 how to switch to use toner instead of drum?

I urgently need to print incoming faxes on the HP 2840, however the black ink drum as run out. I was wondering whether its possible to print using the coloured toners in the wheel? If so I don't know how to do this. Can you please help?
