Now my dogs howling and barking.?

Ok so today all of a sudden my dog starts crying repeatedly. He is not neglected , he is not neutered, and he is a year and a half old. After I came back from walking him he wouldn't stop whining. He would just walk around the house and not atop whining. Now its night and he is howling really long and barking a lot on the stairs. I forgot to mention that he's pedigree. I amconcerned please help. Don't criticize me for not neutering him.
