My mom won't let me wear make up?

I am a 20 year old guy and like to wear make up. I feel more handsome and good looking with the make up but my mom won't let me wear it. I haven't bought any of my own make yet either. I am really good looking, dress somewhat feminine and have a good fashion sense. I take really good care of myself and of my appearance. Have like tons of creams, toners, cleansers, scrubs and stuff but I have always appreciated make up and would love to wear it. I feel way more comfortable with make up on too. I ain't gay but metrosexual. What should I do to let my mom allow me to wear make up? She said one time "she raised a man not a woman" she also said one time she caught me wearing foundation, powder and mineral powder "you seem like a woman" Does that mean I am androgynous cause that is what I am going for to look kinda androgynous. I already have a somewhat androgynous feminine fashion sense.
