A question about recycling?

I need to know the best place to recycle glass bottles that have irremovable plastic tops on them. Should they be recycled with plastic, with glass, or just dumped in normal rubbish? Glass would contaminate the plastic and vice versa. Can anyone advise me what to do, please?
