I want Gryffindor hair. How do I achieve such gold color?

Tomorrow I'm buying hair dye so that I can have hair the colors of the Gryffindor crest (actually, the scarf). Sally Beauty Supply doesn't actually sell a gold hair dye. Sure, there's Manic Panic's Electric Banana and Beyond The Zones Yellin Yellow. I shall have to mix. I'm unsure if I should just put on the E.B/Y.Y and how that the red dye that I'm applying to the rest of my hair will fade, or should I mix them with a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of red dye. Am I over looking the idea of just using toner?
